Beanie Kids - Australia's Cutest Collectable
Beanie Kids first started in September 1997. The original creator of Beanie Kids was Sam Gowing (Designer) and a brother and sister team, Jacqui and Irwin Tobias. The first BK was actually a set of five that included Jade, Goldie, Ruby, Amber and Bluey. Beanie Kids are the #1 plush collectable in both Australia and New Zealand. They are the original bean-filled, 20cm plush bear and are available in a variety of themes and characters, with new designs being released each and every month.
What makes them so special is their individuality. Each Beanie Kid design has its own special name, date of birth and star sign. Designs are often theme based, such as fairies, ballerinas, fashion, sport, animals, monsters and many more. So there are always new and exciting Beanie Kids to collect.
As well as new releases each month, selected Beanie Kids are also retired on a monthly basis. This means that no more of the retired Beanie Kids designs will ever be reproduced - making these retirees very special and highly sought after collector's items.
Cuddly Kids
Cuddly Kids are 40cm versions of the most popular Beanie Kid designs. Each month one new Cuddly Kid is released and one is retired. Cuddly Kids also make a great bedroom decoration, a fantastic gift for any occasion, or a special child’s reward. Most of all they are utterly cuddly!
Great Big Kids
Great Big Kids add a whole new dimension to the Beanie Kids range. Again based on our best selling designs, GBK's are 80cm high and are released on a quarterly basis. GBK's also move into retirement and make a fantastic gift.
Giant Big Kids
The first ever Giant Big Kid was released in 2006. They stand at approximately 1 meter tall. These giants are very rare, but when released are very popular additions to Beanie Kids collections and kids absolutely love them!
