Aster the Purple Bear lives on the farm in a small purple cottage at the end of a large field. It’s very easy to find. Just follow the winding path of Aster flowers that she has planted. Aster loves purple flowers. She carries a small bag of Aster flower seeds wherever she goes and sprinkles them over the ground. A few months later purple Aster flowers appear all over Beanie Island. Aster’s best friend is Lavender the Purple bear who also lives on the farm in the next paddock. Every weekend they visit Kayla the Purple Girl Bear to drink Lavender tea and eat purple iced cupcakes with plum jam. Together they have been planning “The Festival of Purple”. A weeklong event celebrating “The best colour in the world.” Their plan is to cover all the buildings in Beanie Town with purple flowers and make everyone on Beanie Island where purple for seven days.
